In the early 2000s, Casa & Video (a department store chain, founded in Rio de Janeiro) commissioned Indio da Costa Design AUDT studio to design a new ceiling fan model.

The first product (two-blade fan) we developed at that time, was based on airplane propellers, which created an iconic design and (which even earned a place on a commemorative Brazilan stamp) powerful ventilation.

Business-wise, its payback was achieved before than ten months with successive sales records over several years, which encouraged the company to create a spin-off just to develop small appliances
